The straw hats felt very awkward aboard the sunny right now. All crew mates were scattered in various places on deck, pondering recent events; accept Sanji of course who was trying his best to prepare lunch for them all, although he doubted anyone would eat it.

Luffy remained at his usual post at the front of the ship cross legged, a hand holding onto his hat in the slight sea breeze. His usual cheesy grin was replaced with a saddening frown, eye brows knitted together along with a pair of glassy eyes; deep in sorrow.

As a new day began like any other, a strange aura led many to believe that something wasn't quite right. The sun peaked out between the sky and the horizon with pure ease, illuminating everything within its path. Not far from the island of Mantumbi, was a large aqua coloured marine vessel, floating just offshore the island outskirts.

Anyone aboard the monstrosity who squinted towards the north east and block out the sun could spot another ship, calmly drifting across the tranquil sea with ease. IMPORTANT
The name of this club is One Piece Ships, ships as in BOATS, not couples. Please be careful and read these rules.

English

This is a group dedicated to any and all the ships in Eiichiro Oda's series One Piece! Because they need more love.
This means it is for any Going Merry and Thousand Sunny Deviations, as well as for other Marine and pirate ships! (ex. The Moby Dick) Little water vehicles are also allowed (ex. Waver).

Submissions
- They need to have at least a part of a One Piece ship clearly showing in the deviation
- The ships do not necessarily have to be in ship form (ex. in animal/human form, etc.)
- Pairings of any kind are also welcome! (but once again as long as a ship is in it)
- Manga page colourings are fine, but please no direct anime screen shots! Be creative and make your own art!
- Please submit to the right category!

Rules
- Make sure your submissions follow DeviantART policies
- If it has mature content be sure to put on the filter
- No flaming or bashing others! This will get you removed from the group

Ciò è un gruppo dedicato c'è ne ed a tutte le navi in Eiichiro Oda serie S One Piece! Poiché hanno bisogno di più amore.
Ciò significa che è per tutte le deviazioni di Thousand Sunny e di Going Merry, così come per altre navi di pirata e del fante di marina! (Il Moby Dick) pochi veicoli dell'acqua inoltre è permesso (Waver).

Presentazioni
- Devono avere almeno una parte di una nave di One Piece che mostra chiaramente nella deviazione

Contest or other challenge?

[Edit] Alright! So I got some support for a themed challenge/ contest!
Some ideas for it were:
- A ship in a different form than usual (ex. flying chicken version of Merry)
- A theme from the 100 themes challenge
- Gijinka (animal/human form, etc.)

Keep submitting your ideas and opinion whether this should be a contest (maybe with prizes) or just a challenge to get the ship lovin' going!

can anyone explain to my what the -go particle in "Merry-go" and "Sunny-go" means ?

Using the suffix "-go" is just a formal way of addressing a boat or ship in Japanese. The same way you can address another person with the ending "-san."
